Okanagan College(OC) was established in Kelowna in British Columbia in 1963.
Kelowna also has a beautiful climate to appreciate the outdoors.
There are many outdoor activities, for example skiing, golfing and Vancouver is only four hours by car.

OC has five campuses in four cities now. 30 countries are represented by international students.
About 450 people are enrolled in the
OC ESL program.
Students are placed in one of six levels of ESL and can choose classes in basic English, reading, writing, grammar and pronunciation.
Students don't need a TOEFL score to enter the ESL program, but it is necessary to take an assessment test.
The accommodation types available are homestay, dormitory, and apartment.
Condominiums are available off-campus.
A TOEFL score of 550 points is necessary to take the academic program.
Students can enrol in academic classes other than ESL.

University in Fraser valley (UFV) is a public educational institution that was established in 1974.
It has three campuses in Abbotsford and Chilliwack, one hour from Vancouver by car.
Students of various age groups are studying towards university transfer and career advancement.
The university transfer program includes ten bachelor programs in business and computer systems in addition to humanities and science and mathematics programs.
